End of Term Virtue Awards

At the end of each term we celebrate those ākonga who have demonstrated the values of Love, Hope, Prudence, Faith, Justice, Temperance, and Fortitude.

Congratulations to the following ākonga:

Year 7

Evony Burford 7AM  Hope - bringing light and hope into the world Evony is like a ray of sunshine everyday. She is positive, smiling and so kind and considerate to everyone. 

Torito Esquivel Garcia 7AM Prudence - consistently making good choices Torito always goes the extra mile in English. He contributes in class discussion frequently and meaningfully. His work is always detailed and he asks thoughtful questions one on one. He's an earnest learner, with a hunger for growth. 

Jacob Hughes 7AM Fortitude - demonstrating resilience and courage For standing up to the challenge of learning to play a song on drums at the last minute with courage and determination. Samuel Speedy 7:00 AM Hope - bring light and hope into the world 

Samuel Speedy 7AM Faith - support for Special Character Samuel has been generous in sharing his talents, embracing and promoting the school's special character. In class, he has also consistently demonstrated respectful behaviour and eagerness to learn.

 Evony Burford 7AM Fortitude - demonstrating resilience and courage Evony is constantly trying in class, is positive and demonstrates excellent commitment to understanding and finishing set work. 

Tamara Raymundo 7FM Fortitude - demonstrating resilience and courage Tamara is a wonderful role model for others in that she consistently worked hard to achieve Magis in all her school work. She has a strong sense of self and as she lets her light shine, she unconsciously gives her peers permission to do the same. 

Emily Tod 7FM Hope - bring light and hope into the world Emily is a hard-working student who quietly gets on with her work. She is positive and is always seeking to problem-solve rather than dwell on the issue, through this hopefulness she makes the classroom a better place to be for all. She is helpful towards other students and staff. 

Alyxia Ibarra 7RA Hope - bring light and hope into the world Alyxia is always first to class and has a great smile. She recites our karakia with courage and clarity. 

Riley Dixon 7RA Fortitude - demonstrating resilience and courage Riley showed absolute courage by performing in front of a large crowd for the first time at the Illuminations Arts Showcase. He was focused and overcame his nerves leading to a great performance. 

Hayden Rogers 7XB Prudence - consistently making good choices Hayden consistently demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to make thoughtful, well-considered decisions, an excellent role model for his classmates. His commitment to making good choices reflects his maturity and integrity. 

Hayden Rogers 7XB Hope - bring light and hope into the world Hayden is consistantly courteous, kind, and helpful to students and his teacher in art class. His gentle and thoughtful nature brings hope and light into the world. 

Emma Ronald 7XB Prudence - consistently making good choices Emma is a shining example of what it means to be a Saint Ignatius student. She wears her school uniform with pride, has exemplary manners and always displays behaviour befitting of our school values. 

Jacob Hughes 7AM Prudence - consistently making good choices Jacob is humble, kind and hard working student who consistently demonstrates a positive attitude during lessons. 


Year 8

George Moody 8AM Love - demonstrate love for God and others George is kind to everyone. He greets his teachers. He makes other students feel welcome and included. Nicolas Madelozo 8:00 AM Love - demonstrate love for God and others Nic knows when to have fun and knows when to focus. His values shine through in how he interacts with others and his approach to his mahi. 

Chaesi Alosio 8AM Love - demonstrate love for God and others Chaesi demonstrates all of our 4 C's. She consistently shows caring and kindness to everyone around her, making sure that all are included. She is always the first one to comfort a friend, to lend a hand, and go that extra mile. She embodies a service attitude, showing through her actions her love of all.

Daisy Bertram 8AM Fortitude - demonstrating resilience and courage Daisy has shown that she is resilient when she approaches her school work. She diligenty completes all the work she needs to do, using her initiative to check if all of her classwork has been completed. She has shown that she is trying and putting in all her effort. 

Shaira Perez 8AM Prudence - consistently making good choices Shaira is extremely hard working and always tries her hardest. She is a fantastic role model for other students. 

Enzo Collado 8FM Prudence - consistently making good choices Enzo is a polite and conscientious student. He asks questions to deepen his understanding of Science and helps others in his group. 

Bru Muir 8FM Temperance - practice self-control Bru consistently exhibits self-control and discipline in Food Tech, navigating challenges with a calm and measured approach. He remains composed and thoughtful in various situations and is a positive role model for his classmates. 

Lachlyn Makahununiu 8FM Love - demonstrate love for God and others Lachlyn has often performed humble service for friends and the school community, without seeking acknowledgements 

Gwen Reyes 8FM Justice - fair and just to all Gwen has demonstrated a quiet strength, compassion for others and strong sense of justice through her actions and words. 

Sophie Wynne 8RA Love - demonstrate love for God and others Sophie cheerfully looks out for others and treats others with dignity and respect. She gently encourages others to be the best they can be. 

Paul Stirrup 8RA Love - demonstrate love for God and others Paul demonstrates a kind heart through his respectful and caring treatment of others in his words and deeds. 

Madi Kennedy 8XB Love - demonstrate love for God and others Madi is truly compassionate towards others. She notices when someone needs help and is always available to cheerfully support others. 

Breonna Johnson 8XB Prudence - consistently making good choices Breonna is a hard-working student who is always giving her best. She is kind, well mannered and always gives her best even when unsure. 


Year 9

Therese Wong 9FM Prudence - consistently making good choices Therese is a model student. She applies herself to all work given and produces work of the highest standard. She is considerate and tolerant of others. She carries herself and behaves in a mature and humble manner. 

Tate Yorke 9FM Prudence - consistently making good choices Tate always listens, is always respectful and is hungry and earnest to learn. This is evident in his contributions and interactions with others.

Madeleine Kayes 9FM Prudence - consistently making good choices Madeleine works hard in all that she does in class. She is thoughtful in her decision-making and quietly gets on with her work. Madeleine is polite, displays excellent decision-making and always shows the school values.

Ben Hunter 9FM Hope - bring light and hope into the world Ben went out of his way to help a student who was in great need. He provided great support and is an excellent role model for other students. 

Angelo Ramos 9RA Hope - bring light and hope into the world Angelo shares his knowledge with the whole class and is happy to explain his thinking. He brings light and hope by helping others see that they can learn difficult things. Angelo Ramos 9RA Hope - bring light and hope into the world Angelo is always positive and is both helpful and friendly to his peers. Angelo presence and friendly demeanor truly light up the classroom. 

Jamie Barillas 9RA Prudence - consistently making good choices Jamie is a polite and conscientious student. She completes all work set and asks questions to deepen her understanding of Science.

Cullen Wright 9RA Fortitude - demonstrating resilience and courage Cullen consistently demonstrates resilience and courage in class. He is never afraid to take risks in his learning and shows others that it is ok to ask for help when unsure. He is a wonderful role model for others. 

Milla Fogarin 9RA Hope - bring light and hope into the world For demonstrating Magis in class and taking a leadership role. Milla stepped in to teach ākonga the rules of netball and leading a range of drills over 3 weeks. 

Bela Giri 9AM Hope - bring light and hope into the world For demonstrating Magis in class and taking a leadership role. Bella stepped in to teach ākonga the rules of netball and leading a range of drills over 3 weeks. 

Bela Giri 9AM Love - demonstrate love for God and others Kourtney has demonstrated great resilience and courage this semester by overcoming personal hurdles.

Travis Baldwin 9AM Hope - bring light and hope into the world Travis is a ray of light in our Kaiarahi. He is always pleasant and friendly and puts his hand up to help others when needed. He has a positive attitude and willingness in all he does. 

Paikea Maihi 9RA Fortitude - demonstrating resilience and courage Paikea showed great courage by advocating for her fellow students and has exhibited strong leadership qualities. She strives to be her best self on a daily basis.
