Applications for 2027

Year 7 is our main point of entry to St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic College. Entry at other year levels will only be available if a current student leaves.

• Applications for 2027 will open on Monday 1 September 2025.
• Applications for 2027 will close at 9am on Friday 20th February 2026.
• An Open Evening will be held on Tuesday 17th February from 4.30pm-6.30pm.
• We will begin inviting Year 7 priority 1 - 3 applicants for admission interviews from Monday 23rd February 2026.  These will be held in March and April of 2026.

 We aim to begin offering places for Priority Y7 students by the end of Term One 2026.                                                                                                                           

Due to the number of applications received, out of zone and non-preference students will not progress to an admission interview and a wait list will be retained until the end of the academic year.   If a space was to become available during the year, wait listed students may be contacted for an admission interview.

Applications for Year 8-12 students in 2027

There are to be no planned admission interviews at years 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 in early 2026, however places may become available later in the year. These applicants will be retained on a waiting list, if they hold a valid signed preference certificate, otherwise the likelihood of them receiving an interview and admission is highly unlikely and we suggest you also look at other options for their secondary education.

Offer of place

• Families with an offer of place will be required to confirm acceptance within 14 days of receiving the offer and a $300 non-refundable contribution to 2027 Attendance Dues, billed in advance, is due at this time.  Please note this for your own family budgeting purposes.
